I announced a couple days ago that Newcastle United was gonna be on spotify soon since I signed up with unitedmasters.
But, as it turns out, that's not going to happen any more. Why? Because they accused me of fraud. I got an email from them saying that my album "met the criteria for fraudulent activity" and that my account was gonna be suspended. No explanation, no reason, no nothing. And it really pissed me off.
I emailed them back to say I wasn't going to use their services any more if they were gonna accuse me of shit like that, and that should hopefully be the end of the matter. You can still listen to my music for free over here and on my bandcamp, but I'm putting it all under CC licences. I've decided I would like to have more control over it after what's happened today.
Anyway, if you're still reading this, go off and have fun somewhere else, you have better things to do :)

Too bad that they have not specified why it is considered fraudulent content. The only thing I can think of is the fact that a system created by Nintendo is being used totally like on the console, and that is why it will not be considered original.
But what I just said would not make much sense either, because I have seen chiptune music on Spotify as the artist "chipzel", who uses a gameboy to make her songs, and adding effects in the production.
Whatever the reason, they are also good songs, thank goodness there are many platforms to upload independent music

this has really discouraged me andre, I was really looking forward to sharing my music with more people
only reason I can think of is that I never set up a payment gateway, mainly because I'm not interested at all in making money off it
which again makes no sense as how can I commit fraud when there is no intention of making any money?
regardless, I'm probably gonna be slowing down my output a bit, as there are other things I wanna focus on first (like college)
